Along with the Cuentos Foundation, featuring the work of copper artisans from Michoacan, (http://www.cuentosfoundation.org/) Lew Rosenbaum of the Chicago Labor & Arts Festival will be displaying and selling books, and Diana Berek of Phoebemoon Studio will be exhibiting and selling her paintings, denim constructions and craft work. David Meyers will be selling organic, fair trade coffee from Central America.
The large selection used and new books will include some first editions; the Labor Trail Map (a remarkable resource of Chicago’s labor history, published by the Chicago Center for Working Class Studies); and the just published anthology of contemporary poets from more than 70 countries: Revolutionary Poets Brigade, edited by Jack Hirschman and Mark Lipman.
