March to Fulfill the Dream — from New Orleans to Detroit to the US Social Forum

The March to Fulfill the Dream: New Orleans to Detroit

[A week ago marked the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr.  It also launched the latest campaign of the Poor Peoples Economic Human Rights Campaign.  While the march isn’t coming through Chicago, it is certainly traversing the midwest, and spending 3 days in Benton Harbor.  Scarcely 100 miles from our city, Benton Harbor fights the grip of corporate greed and political corruption.  Click on the road map to Detroit, see if there is any place where you can connect with this very important activity leading up to the meeting in Detroit of the US Social Forum. —  Lew Rosenbaum]
